He is never without his quilted red 'buccanneer' coat with black lining and silver buttons, which he wears over his best white linen tunic and woollen black trousers. His favourite wide-brimmed black hat, adorned with feathers, is never parted from his head, where it sits atop of his silvering hair. He ensures that his moustache is always trimmed and shaped to compliment his once brown, now whitening, beard. Du Clerc stands strong on his wooden peg leg with his trusty crutch close at hand to keep him stable as he prepares for his next heist.
